Refund Policy
Skyywell Health Inc. is grateful for the generosity of individuals, businesses, community partners, and organizations that support our mission to serve youth and families through safe, structured, and supportive programs.
All donations and contributions made to Skyywell Health Inc. are used to support program needs, youth services, supplies, activities, household essentials, community engagement, and other mission-related expenses.
General Donation Policy
Donations and contributions are generally considered final and non-refundable. However, Skyywell Health Inc. understands that errors may occur and will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
Refund Requests May Be Considered For:
Skyywell Health Inc. may consider issuing a refund in the following situations:
A donation was made in error.
A duplicate donation was processed.
The incorrect donation amount was entered.
The donation was unauthorized or fraudulent.
A technical or payment processing error occurred.
A donor requests correction shortly after the contribution was made.
Refund Request Time Frame
Refund requests should be submitted within 30 days of the original donation date. Requests submitted after 30 days may not be eligible for a refund unless there are special circumstances, such as fraud, duplicate processing, or payment error.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, donors must contact Skyywell Health Inc. in writing and provide the following information:
Donor’s full name
Date of donation
Donation amount
Payment method used
Reason for refund request
Any receipt, confirmation number, or transaction details available
Refund requests may be submitted by email or through the contact form on our website.
Review and Processing
Once a refund request is received, Skyywell Health Inc. will review the request and may contact the donor for additional information. If approved, refunds will be issued back to the original payment method whenever possible.
Please allow 7–10 business days for approved refunds to be processed, depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
Donations Already Used for Program Purposes
If a donation has already been used or committed toward program services, supplies, youth support, activities, or other mission-related needs, Skyywell Health Inc. reserves the right to deny the refund request or offer an alternative resolution when appropriate.
In-Kind Donations
In-kind donations, including clothing, supplies, furniture, household items, hygiene products, food, equipment, or other physical goods, are generally non-refundable once accepted by Skyywell Health Inc. If an in-kind donation was made in error, the donor should contact Skyywell Health Inc. as soon as possible.
Sponsorships and Event Contributions
Sponsorships, event-related contributions, and campaign-specific donations may have separate terms depending on the purpose of the contribution. If goods, services, recognition, tickets, or other benefits are provided in exchange for a contribution, the refundable portion, if any, may be limited.
For tax-related purposes, only donations made to qualified organizations may be eligible for charitable contribution deductions, and donors should consult their own tax professional regarding deductibility. The IRS also has specific disclosure rules for certain donations where the donor receives goods or services in return.
Tax Receipts and Refunded Donations
If a donation receipt was issued and the donation is later refunded, the donor should not claim the refunded amount as a charitable contribution. If necessary, Skyywell Health Inc. may issue a corrected receipt or written confirmation of the refund.
Policy Changes
Skyywell Health Inc. reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to donations made after the updated policy date.
